These are the first 4 of 12 windows that have been installed in the Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church in Peralta, NM. All the glass on these windows is recycled! The Trinity Top and borders are tempered glass recycled from shower doors, etc. The body the pieces are ground glass from the Los Lunas, NM glass recycling center. None of the glass has sharp edges and all is safe to work with. Also, none of the glass is colored-it is all clear. The color is applied with alcohol ink to the base of Lucite. The glass pieces are then glued over that with E-6000 transparent glue. The pieces are framed and installed about an inch inside the existing windows which has had UV protective film added.. The We have many volunteers working on this project.
